My Story
I became a counselor because the difficult periods in my life left me with a want and need both to understand people, and to try and help those who have gone through, or are going through, their own challenging times.

Growing up in a broken home and wrestling with a complicated relationship with my father, I know firsthand the scars that life can leave. At the age of 23 (I am now 49) my brother suffered a traumatic brain injury in a car accident, shaping my dedication to helping those grappling with trauma, grief and loss.

I've had the privilege of working with and supporting individuals and couples from all walks of life, and across most ages, genders, and ethnicities.
​
Beyond my counseling practice, I am a huge fan of music, movies, sports, reading, writing, camping, and my amazing wife and beautiful daughter.
Education and Certifications
CCSA - Registered Counsellor
(Registration No. CO 30152)
Undertook rigorous long-term studies and received advanced training in counselling psychology before gaining extensive supervised counselling experience at both Headway Gauteng and Bryanston Bible Church in order to register with the CCSA as a certified counsellor.

My Philosophy
I am deeply motivated to make counselling services accessible to all, with a desire to offer affordable options for those who may face financial constraints.

I also firmly believe in the significant therapeutic value of online and telephone counselling, both of which expand much needed access to counselling services among those who are unable to attend, or who are uncomfortable attending face-to-face sessions.
​
Because difficult times in life are inevitable, I am thoroughly convinced that every human being could benefit from quality counselling at various points in their life, hence my dedication to provide affordable and accessible counselling services.
